VERTICAL FENDERS

Vertical fenders are designed to protect the yacht and its large tenders from damage during guest and crew transfer operations. They provide a piling style structure that rigidly attaches to the yacht in any weather and ensures the tender only contacts a soft fender surface. Widely available in either aluminum or stainless steel, we have found that when strength, durability, and weight are the leading engineering parameters, nothing comes close to carbon fiber. Using aerospace-grade high modulus uni-directional carbon, we have created a part that has proven itself over many years of service. Fancy shapes and exotic designs are only useful if they remain in one piece, although the minimalist design showcases its carbon core with a beautifully clear-coated carbon weave. Installation is made simple using expanding pins to attach to the yacht, leaving no threads or leavers to line up.
